Yes, you can integrate the IO64's inputs for direct use by the V16Pro's script.
Here's the steps you'd need to take:
1. In WinScriptLive, add the IO64 to your V16Pro's script
Make sure to select "Slave IO" as the "Protocol". Select any serial port you'd like.
2. Using standard WinScript, (older version, not WinScriptLive) serially download the "slave" IO64 script to the IO64.
The script is located in:
C:\Program Files\Alcorn McBride Inc\WinScriptLive\Scripts\Concepts\SlaveIO64_files.
This will be "SlaveIO_IO64_Host.amw" if you'd like to use the serial port labeled "Host" on the IO64 or "SlaveIO_IO64_Remote.amw" if you'd like to use the serial port labeled "Remote" on the IO64.
Note: "Program Files" might be "Program Files (x86)" on 64 bit machine.
3. Connect the IO64's serial port to whatever port you selected in step 1.
If you used the "Host" script, use the IO64's "host" port. If you used the "Remote" script, use the IO64's "remote" port. Be sure to use a "NULL" RS232 serial cable if using the "Remote" version.
That's it! Now the IO64's inputs become part of your "inputs" screen in your WinScriptLive script.
