Video freezes during playback on my DVM8500
Possible Causes: Corrupt sector in CF card due to degradation. Corrupted video file with the encoding on the video file. Corrupted video file resulting from an interrupted network transfer or physically removing CF from computer with properly ejecting the device in Windows. Excessive network traffic.
Solution: Reformat CF card and reload video file(s). Re-encode video if necessary. Refer to the see “My video does not play” section. Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the unit and power cycle. Leave Ethernet unplugged to test and rule out excessive network traffic.
