Encoding High-Definition Video

Encoding parameters for creating compatible HD content for Alcorn McBride Video Players

Don’t wait until you get to the field to test your video material! The most common cause of playback issues with our products is improper video encoding. In order to guarantee reliable and repeatable performance, the audio and video MUST be encoded and multiplexed correctly. If you do not have an encoding solution, please check out our Encoding Guide. This guide provides you with detailed directions on how to use several different software packages to encode video properly for our products. If you are not comfortable encoding content yourself, we encourage you to use a service with Alcorn McBride encoding experience. These companies know how to make high-quality video that plays perfectly, synchronously (when needed), and reliably. If, however, you wish to configure your software to encode for our video products, please refer to the following guidelines.
